How the numbers are calculated

Liquidation (isolated margin, simplified): Long ≈ entry × (1 − 1/leverage + maintenance rate); Short ≈ entry × (1 + 1/leverage − maintenance rate). Real exchanges use tiered maintenance rates and fees, so treat it as an estimate.

PnL: quantity = margin × leverage ÷ entry. Profit = (exit − entry) × quantity for longs, the reverse for shorts. Fees = (entry + exit) × quantity × fee rate.

Position size: quantity = (balance × risk %) ÷ |entry − stop|. This keeps the loss at your chosen risk if the stop fills at its price.

FAQ

Is this the same liquidation price my exchange shows?

It is close for small positions in isolated margin. Binance, Bybit and BingX use tiered maintenance margin and include fees, so their figure can differ slightly. Always check the exchange before trading.

What leverage is safe?

There is no universally safe leverage. The calculator shows how far price can move before liquidation; the higher the leverage, the smaller that distance.

Does Aurora Pro trade for me?
